Role: Director of Product Management

About myAgro:

myAgro is a non-profit agritech social enterprise based in West Africa. We have developed a mobile savings model that allows farmers to invest their own funds in high-quality seed, fertilizer, and agricultural training to increase their harvest and income by 50-100%. Our North Star is to support 1 million farmers in 2026 - providing them the tools they need to prosper. About the Role:

You will help accelerate myAgro's ability to scale, reach 100% sustainability and increase its impact. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will manage our product roadmap, and lead changes to products for our internal customers. You will also manage a team of product managers, product associates, and designers that help achieve the goals of the role.

The current product suite includes farmer-facing tools, tools for village field workers, and office and cloud infrastructure that enables myAgro to work. You will understand users, build use cases, develop product strategy, determine product specifications, support engineering to build great products, launch products to customers, lead training, and monitor and follow-up for products.

You Will:

• Lead the design of a user centered design and impact-driven product development process.
• Identify gaps, issues, or opportunities to launch new tech products or improve the existing myAgro products and guide through development and launch.
• Lead the product roadmap efforts to ensure that we hit important milestones, manage expectations, and oversee the product management and product support processes.
• Structure and directly manage the team to ensure successful product management and development, including mentorship and training for user-centered design techniques, great communication, and project management.
• Communicate early and often, sharing regular written and verbal product updates, milestones, and progress to internal and external partners.

You Have:

• Curiosity to learn from the team and the users.
• Minimum 5 years work experience, especially in product development and product management in technology companies.
• Experience working with executives and senior stakeholders in order to represent the business strategy within the technology team.
• Experience in user requirements gathering and product design and design thinking.
• Previous job where you managed a product team.
• Previous cross-cultural experience for a period of 6 months or more, or some experience working in ICT4D context would be great.
• Fluent in English, and prefer solid French skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Dakar, Senegal, and travel to remote locations to develop in-depth understanding of our work and our users (up to 30%).
