About myAgro 

myAgro helps farmers move out of poverty: we do this with a simple approach. We help farmers manage their cash flow better – at harvest time when farmers have more cash, they can lock away their funds for seeds and fertilizer for the next season. They pay using their mobile phone (or mobile money in Tanzania) and myAgro delivers the inputs they’ve paid for before it rains and provides technical training so farmers know how to use the inputs efficiently. This leads to 50% more food and 50% more income per farm. To date myAgro serves 89,000 farmers and will scale to 1 million farmers by 2025. The award-winning team has received recognition from Skoll Foundation, Echoing Green, World Bank, Bill Gates and more.  

About the Role

As myAgro grows, we want to make sure that knowledge is shared across departments and countries to continue to improve the way we work. myAgro is seeking a Knowledge Management Associate to support the development of organizational strategy to document processes, share best practices, encourage innovation, and promote organizational information sharing. The Knowledge Management Associate will be working cross-functionally with team members from various departments under the supervision of the Knowledge Manager.  

Knowledge Managers are well organized, detailed oriented, flexible, have strong problem-solving skills as well as strong communication and active listening skills.

To ensure success, Knowledge Management Associates should be confident, professional, self-motivated and excited about a non-routine job that allows them to collaborate with multiple teams across the organization. Top candidates will have outstanding presentation and report writing skills, with the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Document processes, activities and projects in a clear and digestible manner. 
  • Conduct after action reviews and other knowledge sharing activities to disseminate information and learning across the organization. 
  • Contribute to the maintenance of myAgro’s knowledge management software. 
  • Support in the onboarding and offboarding process of team members. 
  • Completing reporting requirements on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. 
  • Support the implementation of MyAgro's Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS), including completing reporting requirements on a quarterly and annual basis, training staff on ESMS procedures and ensuring compliance with processes and policies.
