About the Talent Acquisition Partner role

myAgro is seeking an entrepreneurial and fast-learning individual with strong interpersonal skills, a knack for building effective processes, a passion for working with diverse teams, and confidence in partnering with executives on the demands of staffing needs. The Talent Acquisition Partner will primarily be responsible for developing creative sourcing initiatives as well as developing and maintaining relationships with candidates and the hiring managers. You will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment of candidates, sourcing and attracting top talent, and building a global employment brand.  The role will focus on global, as well as local recruiting needs.


  • Full-cycle recruitment (from job requisition to onboarding).
  • Build and continuously evolve talent acquisition strategies to meet the long-term and short-term organisation growth objectives and customise the strategy to suit the needs of the various myAgro units and geographic locations.
  • Consult with hiring managers to determine anticipated hiring needs to proactively build a pipeline of high potential candidates.
  • Drive focus on candidate experience to ensure that applicants are treated with the highest of standards and integrity.
  • Keep abreast of industry standards and trends by collecting relevant data, identify mission critical KPI’s, and metrics for current practices and strategies.
  • Act as a brand ambassador at external recruiting events.
  • Work collaboratively with country program People Operations teams to implement local recruitment and onboarding strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A passion for the mission, vision and values of myAgro
  • 6+ years global recruiting experience
  • Strategic thought process and strong decision-making in the face of ambiguity
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying, hiring, retaining, and developing professionals at all levels; ideally in the Africa region
  • Expert level of all standard recruiting elements
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across cultures and countries
  • Creative and versatile approach to problem-solving; solution-oriented
  • Language requirement: French and English
